So those who claim to be sex workers go to court with their money to watch Escorts sex workers receive criminal charges that last a lifetime. By the way, this is what they call "support". Yes, really.
Teetotalers’ Lies
The last and perhaps most important fact about teetotalers is that they lie constantly. And this is where this book shines. Not only is this book very well written and entertaining, but it also expertly exposes the most commonly used lies. In some cases, studies blocked from the start are used endlessly to represent the entire industry, and in other cases, they are simply fabrications. When she reminisces about her time as a pathologist and recounts the horrific scenes of murdered sex workers, prohibitionists would dismiss her death as inevitable. This is a whole new level of brutality.
This book is not written for a scientific audience but is easy to digest and understand. It is also terrifying and genuinely eye-opening to see how far prohibitionists will go to protect a precious resource. It's short and sweet, so if you're like me and have a good attention span, you'll enjoy this book too.
This book gets to the heart of a particularly ugly and Escorts debate, so I highly recommend it. The feminist perspective on Escorts sex work has been profoundly and poignantly presented on every conceivable platform. But as Escorts sex workers, we know our lives, no matter how much we get yelled at, and that's our specialty.
